Dorothy Tucker, an award-winning investigative reporter for CBS News Chicago, recently marked 40 years with the station. She has been with CBS News Chicago since 1984.

Last week, the station honored Tucker with a special video tribute highlighting her decades-long career and featuring surprise appearances by her three adult children.

The video celebrated her dedication to “investigating injustice” and acknowledged her influence in the industry as “a TV legend, a star journalist, and a friend and colleague.”

A native of Chicago, Tucker reflected on the importance of persistence and shared how meaningful it has been to work at the very station she watched and dreamed of joining as a young woman.

NABJ salutes Former President Tucker on this milestone.
