From Newmark J-School Staff
In a new partnership with Reuters, CUNY’s Newmark Graduate School of Journalism will award a full-tuition scholarship to a member of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) who enrolls in Fall 2021.
The award also includes mentorship by Reuters editors throughout the academic year, inclusion in Reuters learning events, and a paid 10-week summer internship with Reuters, the world’s largest multimedia news provider.
The admissions team of the J-School will identify the scholarship recipient from the pool of candidates currently applying for the 2021-2022 academic year. The student should preferably have an interest in financial, business, or political reporting. Data analysis expertise, investigative reporting skills, and fluency in multiple languages are also desirable.
