WHAT: Founders, members and special guests of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) will come together for a live Zoom celebration of the organization’s 45th anniversary.
NABJ Co-Founder DeWayne Wickham will receive this year’s Founders’ Appreciation Award. NABJ will also honor the life of Co-Founder John C. White, who passed on November 21. A special presentation honoring NABJ’s history will also air.
WHO: Kay Angrum, digital reporter at NBC New York and host/producer of “Listen Up” will serve as the celebration’s moderator, alongside NABJ Founders and other featured speakers.
