Building off the conversation AMA had during the 2020 NABJ-NAHJ Convention about health equity and the COVID-19 pandemic, this webinar will focus on the truth in the science behind the COVID-19 vaccines.
Moderated by NABJ President Dorothy Tucker and NAHJ President Nora López, discussion topics will include: the vaccine development process, Operation Warp Speed, racial disparities in clinical trials, vaccine hesitancy in the Black and Latinx communities, the politics of a vaccine, unbiased sources, the protocols and prioritization of who gets the vaccine, and ensuring its equitable distribution.
