Members are invited to register for the first-ever Virtual NABJ Media Institute on Education & Health. The one-day conference will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021, beginning at 11 a.m. ET. This year’s theme is “Inspired Learning: Competing in an Evolving Media Landscape.”
Register free by April 21, 2021, HERE or below. (Note: Member login required to register.)
The Institute is the only conference of its kind that focuses on education and health disparities in communities of color, while providing print, broadcast and digital journalists and students, as well as educators and communicators, with tools to effectively report on or spread awareness about the impact of education and health care reform and policy for underserved communities.
Attendees will also leave with useful resources for the ever-changing media landscape that are necessary to inform and empower readers and viewers to action. Mental health, balancing life issues, financial literacy, and the digital shift will also be a part of this year’s conversation. Several new development and training features will also be available to help advance attendees’ progress in their respective career paths.
